My practice is a play with paradox. I research through senses, dreams, memory; an inseparable, emergent woven tapestry. Working with my hands has been a life-long ritual of connecting to ancestor, of getting to know spirit in every cell of my body, each material and object. Communicating with my environment — the forces seen and unseen — image arises from a field of mystery. Typically, I translate the image through weaving, though I also utilize clay, print making, drawing. Film asks me to slow down and observe, usually while I am in new places; the captured moment a byproduct imprinted in psyche. I write when I am nudged to, usually upon waking from a dream.

This portfolio is a combination of self-imposed assignments, and often assignments and commissions from others. Past collaborators include private clients, ACE Hotel Brooklyn, The Stonehouse, among others. I love to work with specific prompts, for specific spaces and places, or in response to other artists.
