HELLO
My name is Owyn, and I am partner to Damian, and mother to our young son Luca. We currently live in East Meredith, a small hamlet in the Western Catskill Mountains — land traditionally stewarded by the Haudenosaunee, specifically the Mohawk and Oneida. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY.
The place we live and work, we call Succurro — a land-based cooperative project that provides food, hospitality, and creative programs that revolve around folk traditions from crafts to the healing arts. When I am not providing care for Luca, I am tending to the bees or garden, taking care of Succurro’s administrative tasks, giving sessions, teaching, or making artwork.
